TEACHER // SINGER// ACTOR
Hi there! My name is Lizzy, and I am so glad that you have found my page! I believe that singing can be an amazing source of joy, and you don't have to be a professional to find it! I use science based evidence with an emphasis on vocal health and sustainability to help each of my students find their unique voice.
I would love to help YOU find the JOY of singing as well as PREPARE for college auditions, professional auditions and more!
Lizzy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She currently is based out of Southern Missouri. She holds an MM in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre/ Post-Masters Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University. She also served as an Adjunct Professor of Voice at NYU and College of the Ozarks. Currently she is pursuing a Certificate of Vocology from NYU. Lizzy has performed regionally for nearly a decade. Favorite credits include Jo March (Little Women), Olive (Spelling Bee), and Girl (Once).
Lizzy adores the outdoors! When not performing, she and her husband, Conor, enjoy hiking, canoeing, and exploring. She is a proud beagle owner and a bluegrass enthusiast. Give her a chocolate chip cookie, and you have her heart.
I BELIEVE SINGING IS AN EXPRESSION OF OUR MIND BODY CONNECTION
Each person brings something inherently unique to the table. It is my goal to highlight what makes your voice unique while helping you achieve your vocal goals sustainably
Your voice is beautiful. Read that again! There is beauty in what makes you you, and there is value in your voice- no matter where you are in your singing journey, no matter if you are facing challenges or nailing every song. Your voice is BEAUTIFUL
There is something about our voice that is oh so personal. Singing is a very courageous thing! My studio is a place to explore your voice, take risks, and make mistakes. It is OKAY to mess up or sound "bad." We can learn so much from just taking that leap of faith and trying something! I want to be your biggest cheerleader!
Your voice is worthy. It is worth being heard. Every stage of the vocal journey is important, and trust me, you don't have to be the best singer in the room to have value.
